Kappa Phi Lambda is an asian-INTEREST sorority, NOT asian-exclusive. We stand for sisterhood, service, and cultural diversity.
Kappa Phi Lambda was founded on March 9, 1995 and is one of the nation's fastest growing Asian-interest sororities. With over a thousand sisters at 26 chapters and colonies, Kappa continues to be one of the most distinguished and respectable Greek organizations in the nation.

- I will be back shortly to update you guys on some of the events we had these past weeks. :]

Passion for Bhangra. It was really fun and a good work out too!
Kappas won COLLEGE BOWL at 2nd place! (It was like a game show with questions testing your knowledge.)
We also got in first place for the Spelling Bee that was held at Afterhours. Good job Shelley and Emily~! :D

A Night in Asia was very successful. A lot of groups and organizations came together and prepared different games and performances all reflecting various types of Asian cultures. Our Silent Date Auction was right after this event and it was also very successful raising over $1,100! Thanks everyone for coming out to support us.
On NeU Service day, we spent our morning/afternoon cleaning out a community gym for women and children.
Our Women's Self Defense Workshop was very insightful. There were photos taken, but they aren't available right now so it will be updated into our gallery later.

On Nov 11th, we had an event called A Taste of MGC where the organizations of the Multicultural Greek Council (DPO, SBR, PDP, KPL) came together to present to your guys what our organizations are all about. There was food there too which is always a plus. Hope our presentations were insightful!

The KAPPAberry flyer lists the time and dates of the events that will be held during recruitment week, which are hosted by our KPL sisters of course. Take a look~ These events were planned for you girls and all events are free, so please do not hesitate to come out to see what we're all about. It should be loads of fun. Mark up those planners/calendars! heehee :]
